When that tactic fails to close the deal, he lowers the price a few hundred dollars and lays on the guilt trip to make you feel like you are getting an amazing deal and preventing his family from eating even though he is "not the cheapest". After you sign, he makes one attempt to execute immediately which is incredibly too fast. Afterwards very few attempts to begin the project will be made.
To be fair we didn't want the siding torn off during the crazy Texas rain the last couple of months so we delayed at least 2 times. Questions about expected execution, progress or timeline will be dodged or ignored. Over a month later without single contact he is ready to execute next day. Shows up with trailer half full of garbage, no permits or approvals from HOA. Richard then gets upset we are questioning trust and professionalism when we ask if permits were executed, what expected progress is and how work will be completed.
A worker antagonizes the dog through the backdoor window on camera. Richard has the audaciousness to get feelings hurt and accuse of spying when we inform them there are security cameras watching and listening to everything.
Suddenly we don't trust him or their professionalism enough to deserve his service because we are "spying" on them. Richard cancels job before even removing a single board and "tears up" contract. All this via text within 2-hour period. Not one single phone call attempted or meeting called. We request a cancellation of project document before end of day to ensure execution of contract is not attempted in future.
As expected, Richard committed and failed to execute. Everest is just like every other contractor that promises the world just to get contract signed, then rewards you with poor execution.
Sir Richard trust is earned not given. Honest action, faithful execution of agreements along with willingness to honestly answer questions to best of knowledge and ability in any given situation will earn trust. If there is truly nothing to hide as stated during sales pitch, how is our oversight of the progress on our property spying? Last time I checked it is our house and property which you are given the permission to be present and working on. We are not spying simply ensuring our largest investment and everything in it is safe.
Customer Beware everything is not what it is on the surface and Everest's grass is no greener than their competition! We needed to replace the old siding and gutters on our house and when searching for contractors that would give us an estimate we found Everest Siding and Windows and was skeptical at first but after calling and meeting with the owner Richard he was very friendly and explained every thing n detail he was always available for any questions that we had.
Also a big thumbs up for Carlos and his crew and excellent job they did very professional and very hard workers. Write A Review Ask A question. Share this page? Business Owner? Claim your free Review Centre Star Rating badge now!

Chase them through lockdown and told be sorted once things reopen. Do not touch this company. They just called me this morning asking if they could quote for work. Absolutely shambolic service, product and support. They are incompetent, none of the business speaks to each other and all they want to do is take as much money out of you as possible.

I have been waiting nearly 2 years for Everest to carry out warranty work on my windows. I have had numerous contacts with Everest admin staff, had at least 5 surveyor visits the last in November and am still waiting for someone to contact me to do the work.
Each surveyor that comes has to remeasure for the work involved because the information from the previous surveyor had "gone missing". I bought a brand new made to measure door for my mother who is 76 from Everest Windows and Doors. Salesman was nice and the door looks nice are the only good things I can be positive about. When the door arrived it had the wrong lock where you have to lock it. After several… Read Full Review.
Still waiting for defects to be sorted from 4 months ago Would not recommend and very disappointed with all aspects from day 1. Recently had to have my door adjusted which the engineer did with my garden spade. By this time Everest was closed with only a guy answering calls. He told me to get a locksmith and everest would repay any costs. I am doing it to warn people off and save them the hassle that I am having to endure.
