Apply to Go Global with your 3 choices. Where you get to go will depend on if you meet the eligibility requirements for the Go Global program, how many spots are available at the school, and how many UBC students want to go to the same place.

Go Global matches you to one of your 3 choices and nominates you to apply. How to apply. The wait is around weeks after the December deadline before you hear back. Once you are matched and nominated to a university, you must apply to your host university.

You'll get an email from Go Global with instructions on how to apply directly to that school. Go Global allows you to travel abroad to study, conduct research, or to take a course abroad with UBC students and professors. Discover programs. However, if you are going on exchange in your final term of study in the BCom program in Term 2 of the winter session, you will not graduate in May, but will instead graduate in November.

If you're studying abroad, do not register in any UBC courses during your exchange term s ; only register in courses for the term that you will be attending UBC. Go Global will register you in an exchange code to indicate that you are on exchange, which will trigger your tuition for the term and enable awards staff to review your eligibility for the Go Global International Learning Award.
